ST. GEORGE’S GRENADA, SEPTEMBER 28, 2025 – On behalf of the Partnership Initiative for Sustainable Land Management (PISLM) and its Executive Director, we extend our deepest sympathy to the family of the late Hon. Vaughn Miller, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
Minister Miller was a true champion of environmental stewardship, particularly in the fight against land degradation and in advancing the cause of Land Degradation Neutrality across the region. His commitment and leadership have left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire our collective efforts toward sustainable land management.
We share in the sorrow of his passing and join the people of The Bahamas in mourning the loss of a dedicated public servant. May his family and loved ones find comfort during this difficult time and may his vision for a healthier environment live on through our continued work.
